This movie scared me from start to finish
LollipopBy Beverley Ross & Julius Dixon Performed by The Chordettes. It’s been a long time since I saw a good horror movie. The story is a bit clichéd at some points, but it’s well written and well acted most of the time. The acting is also great, which isn’t always the case with horror movies. It is very well directed and the atmosphere is really eerie. The first girl who died in the movie probably had the most uncomfortable smile I’ve seen in maybe my entire life.
It really gave me chills
Especially when the Therapist started seeing him in the dark as hallucinations. Then there were some smiles that weren’t too scary, like the patient Carl. The pace of the movie was great. It became more and more terrifying as the story progressed. The ending really stuck with me and I actually thought I was having nightmares that night, which doesn’t happen to me very often. The day after I saw this movie, a car drove by and the old man driving the car looked at me and smiled… The only thing I could think about was this movie.
This was Parker Finn’s first feature film
I really hope he makes more movies like this. A good start to his writing/directing career. Well done!
