In the years following the release of the first film, there were numerous attempts to write a sequel
Scenario
After his home is conquered by the tyrannical emperors who now lead Rome, Lucius is forced to enter the Colosseum and must look to his past to find strength to return the glory of Rome to its people..
Musician Nick Cave was invited to draft a version by Russell Crowe and Sir Ridley Scott
His version focused on the more mythical elements of Ancient Rome, and would have seen Maximus arrive in the afterlife, only to be faced with other souls who are yet to ascend further.
He is eventually tasked by Jupiter and other Roman deities to return to earth to find and kill Hephaestus, a former deity who has betrayed them
From there, he is resurrected as a Christian and finds himself journeying back to Rome, on a mission to stop Christianity from spreading, while crossing paths with the new Emperor, Lucius.
The studio decided not to go through with this version, but the script is available to read online
The movie would have ended with Maximus being cursed to live for an eternity, featuring a montage of the soldier battling through the Crusades, World War II, and the Vietnam War, eventually revealing a modern-day Maximus working at the Pentagon in Washington.

This beautifully animated film goes beyond being simply family-friendly; it’s an emotional and thought-provoking experience
From the stunning visuals to the touching story, “The Wild Robot”” The film delivers powerful messages about empathy, connection, and what it means to belong. The film effortlessly blends lighthearted moments with deeper emotional themes, making it an instant classic in my eyes. I was an emotional wreck (in the best way possible) for most of the film, completely immersed in the story and the characters’ experiences. It’s rare to find an animated film that strikes such a deep chord, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
It’s a true 10/10, and I can’t wait to see how it moves others like it moved me

Another soon appeared in the background with the audience during the show today
Scenario
After witnessing a strange, traumatic incident involving a female patient, the psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is threatened by an unusual entity. In the days leading up to the film’s release on September 30, 2022, the cast attended various baseball games while sitting down. dead and all smiles behind home plate as he stared into the camera, motionless despite the understandably concerned fans in the audience wearing Smile T-shirts. At around the 31 minute mark, Rose smashes her glass as the alarm goes off.

When the glass is shown on her feet, she is wearing stockings. Seconds later, when he checks the door, he’s wearing lace-up shoes. Based on what happens later in the party, there are some continuity issues that may not be "bugs" but it may actually be intentional to show "interruptions" In Rose’s consciousness/mind.. why are you doing this to me Terrible: Because your mind is so attractive.

Paramount’s opening and closing logos feature a curved line in the shape of a smile at the base of a mountain. Lollipop By Beverley Ross & Julius Dixon, performed by The Chordettes. LOTS of jump scares and gory scenes as expected. Some original horror and a lot of “been there, done that” which is fun for a horror junkie like me.
A weak conclusion
BUT. It seems like it’s literally just a setup for a nice sequel to come. You’ll see what I mean if you’re looking for a more meaningful ending to what could have been a great ending, as this story builds and guides the viewer to what might make sense. Not worth the high price at the box office.

And on that account "Cenaze" was original, points added for that accomplishment
Scenario
I had not heard about this 2023 Turkish horror movie titled "Cenaze" (aka "The Funeral") prior to sitting down and watching it here in 2024. I happened to get a chance to watch it, and given my fascination with all things horror, of course I needed no persuasion to do so.The storyline in the movie was slow paced, and it was definitely a different approach to the zombie genre. However, I have to say that the narrative was rather sluggish and slow paced, and without much of anything overly interesting happening throughout the course of the movie, it was a tough 109 minutes to sit through.Of course I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie. But I will say that the acting performances were fair, despite the fact that the script failed to entertain me.Visually then "Cenaze" Was okay.
It was so annoying to have the camera constantly moving about
It was not a movie that needed to throw an abundance of special effects in the faces of the audience in order to tell its story. And whatever simplistic effects were in the movie served their purpose well enough. One thing that really annoyed me in "Cenaze", aside from the fact that the script was not entertaining, was the constantly twitching and flinching camera work. It wasn't big or fast movement, but still it was enough to irritate me. Why not just secure the camera properly for a more professional presentation of the film?
And it is a movie that you need to have a peculiar interest in entertainment to sit down and find enjoyment in
This whole handheld or home-video type of shooting doesn't sit well with me.I do believe that "Cenaze" was actually my first time to watch a Turkish movie. This movie, from director Orcun Behram, is not one that will find a wide appeal with the general horror audience, as it is somewhat of a very acquired taste. It was somewhat of a swing and a miss in terms of entertaining me, so this is not a movie that I will be returning to watch a second time. Nor is it a movie that I will recommend you to rush out and get to watch. My rating of "Cenaze" lands on a generous three out of ten stars..
